Welcome to DJB Novels. The novels you will find on our site are fiction, but a spiritual touch is felt throughout each one. Even so, we are not known in the Publishers Field as ‘Christian Fiction’ authors. Truthfully, we prefer it that way because we intend to reach all audiences, not simply one specific category.

The characters in DJB novels are kept real to life; something that was not allowed in Christian Fiction circles. If our character is a ‘pagan’ of sorts, he acts, walks and talks as a pagan. We aren’t ones to get carried away with vulgarity, but neither do we pretend that our eyes and ears are offended by such language or its existence of it. We do indeed deal with some of the worst characters imaginable. If we can’t reveal these characters for the people they really are, then what is the point of writing the story?

The same is true if our characters are Christians. We write a Christian character to portray the life of a ‘believer’ and one who is unashamed to live that lifestyle to its fullest. The readers may be in for a surprise, though. Christians aren’t perfect, nor or they portrayed as such. DJB novels are not preachy. Our desire is for people from every walk of life to read and enjoy our books without feeling attacked by religious pressure. We tell the story and leave the rest up to God.

Some of what DJB novels contain is: suspense, chills, thrills, romance, humor, love, hate, forgiveness, happiness, sadness, anger, joy, lust, sex, greed, generosity, lies, truth, murder, revenge, justice, angels, demons, Hell, Satan, Jesus, Heaven, and God – just to mention some.

We openly confess that our help in writing comes from God above. The authors of DJB novels are Christians, but we write about the world and everything in it – using Fiction as our format to draw in our audience.
